Carrabba’s Italian Grill Kick-Off Celebration

Carrabba’s Italian Grill Kick-Off Celebration is the official kick-off to Roof Sit.  Carrabba’s Italian Grill has generously agreed to sponsor the outdoor picnic style dinner by donating over 200 dinners allowing The Community Healing Centers and Roof Sit stakeholders to sell a combination of individual tickets and corporate tables.  This is a family event targeted to reinforce our commitment to strong families and supporting children’s needs.  The dinner is being held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:30.  Tickets are just $20 each ($10 for children 5 and under), or $160 for a table of 8.  You can get your tickets by calling (269) 343-1651, ext 154, or (269) 388-2830.  There will be live entertainment, a Silent Auction and  Live Auction with some great items to bid on.  Please join us for this fun and important event.  Many thanks to all the auction item donors, Carrabba's Italian Grill and  United Rental.  Click here to see the auction booklet.   

Live and Silent Auction - May 17th

On Thursday, May 79, 2012 we will host a Live Auction and a Silent Auction at the Carrabba's Italian Grill Kick-Off Dinner.  We are now seeking donations of items to be auctioned off. 

Tips for Kids: May 17 - 19

During Roof Sit, volunteer groups or business teams pump gas and wash windshields for tips at nine area Shell gas stations. Each volunteer group is scheduled for a two or three hour shift. The tips are collected and then taken to the Roof Sit site.  Groups of friends, co-workers or a family can sign up for a shift.  A group can be 2 people or more.  Last year, Tips for Kids raised over $13,500 for Roof Sit.  We would love to hit at least $16,000 this year.  Click here to download a brochure and application form.  This is a great way to help support the children in our community.  Tips for kids shifts start on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 9:00 am and run all the way through Saturday, May 19, 2011 at 4:00 pm so there are lots of options available at a Shell Station near you. 

Glamorous Girl and GQ Guy Party - Saturday May 19, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

The Glamorous Girlfriends Party is being held again this year!  It has been a great success for the past 2 years, raising almost $1,300 for Roof Sit last year.  On Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm you can come down to the Roof Sit site on the corner of Westnedge and Milham and be pampered like a star by getting your hair cut or nails manicured.  Each service is a $5 donation that goes directly to Roof Sit.   This is great for a group of friends, mothers and daughers, or even dads and brothers!  Services are offered by volunteer licensed stylists from throughout the area.  Share the info with your friends - click here.

Community and School Donation Boxes and Donation Cards 

This is a way for our community and local schools to give back and help prevent child abuse and neglect. Donation boxes are placed in area schools and community businesses to help raise extra money to support the Community Healing Center’s services and programs. Family Fun Night
